About Carol F. Dreznick

Meet OurAttorney

Carol Dreznick is a former career prosecutor, with 33 years of experience prosecuting both misdemeanors and felonies while working in the Connecticut State's Attorney's Office. Her reputation as a prosecutor was as a diligent and zealous advocate. She was always driven to find the truth and work toward fair conclusions to the cases she managed. It is that very same diligence, zeal and drive that Carol has now brought to defending clients of The Maddox Law Firm.

Carol spent 15 years as a lead prosecutor of juvenile offenses throughout Fairfield County as a Senior Assistant State's Attorney in the Division of Criminal Justice. In this role, she critically evaluated allegations and evidence and managed post-arrest investigation. She engaged in oral argument, and conducted hearings and plea negotiations, including alternatives to detention.

Prior to managing juvenile delinquency matters, Carol spent 18 years litigating adult criminal cases, including both misdemeanors and felonies. Carol has experience developing trial strategies, interviewing witnesses, conducting jury selection and jury trials.

Carol earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University and her Juris Doctorate from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.

The Maddox Law Firm is very fortunate to have Carol join our team of professional, experienced, and dedicated advocates. Her conscientious, energetic advocacy has already delivered superb results for our clients and we expect more of the same as Carol brings her enthusiastic, highly intelligent representation to courts throughout Connecticut.

In her free time, Carol enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and playing tennis.
